 KSL-1700X-KA2 is a bench-top ultra-high temperature muffle furnace built by the components UL recognized with a max. working temperature up to 1750°C. The furnace uses Kanthal Super- HT (1800C grade) MoSi2 heating elements and is controlled by a high precision SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) digital controller with +/-1 °C accuracy and 30 segments that are programmable up to 1750°C. It is an ideal box furnace for sintering high purity ceramic materials at high temperatures without element contamination. This furnace lacks vacuum sealing , toxic or explosive gases are not recommended for use with this furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision. Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
