The high-temperature KSL-1700X-S-H is a compact hybrid furnace that offers 4.7" x 4.7" x 4.7" high-purity fibrous alumina chamber, which installs two 18 mm OD. alumina tubes and two layers in the box for processing multi-sample in one time from 800ºC - 1700ºC. It is an excellent furnace for a material research lab to process small samples both in air and a controlled atmosphere. Application Notes For preserving the longevity of the furnace components, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10 °C /min. The cooling rate shall also not exceed 10 °C /min. This furnace lacks vacuum sealing, and it is not recommended to use toxic or explosive gasses in this furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision. Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics with overuse. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
