Hi-Purity Ceramic Zirconia Coating, 3270 o F (1800 o C), for coating and protecting heating elements of high temperature furnace. Specification: Highly-filled zirconium oxide-based coating. Produces a hard, chemically-resistant protective layer which is stable with aluminum, molybdenum, platinum, rhodium, and titanium. Idea for sealing porous ceramics and protecting other ceramics, graphite and metal structures up to 3270 o F (1800 o C). Exceptional for coating resistance wire heating elements, SiC and MoSi2 heating elements in high temperature furnaces, protecting them from residue buildup which causes arching and reduced element life. Total Size: 17 oz./6oz. (Shipping in pre-mixed one part) Recommended painting and curing procedures: painting by brush (thickness less than 0.75mm) Air setting at least 2 hours, then curing at 200 o F for 2 hours Distilled water can be used to thin coating.
