Description

OTF-1200X-IV-S is the smallest 1100 o C Four- Zone split tube furnace with a separate temperature control console. Such a four-zone furnace can create a step thermal gradient or uniform temperature zone up to 10" long by adjusting the four zones' temperature. The furnace can accept 1-2” OD processing tube (with min. 1000mmL). Four digital temperature controller is built in a separable unit .  It is an excellent furnace for various CVD, and PVD applications.

Furnace structure
  • Double layer steel case with air cooling keeps the furnace surface temperature lower than 60°C.
  • Energy-saving high purity fibrous alumina insulation.
  • Heating Element:1300C grade Fe-Cr-Al Alloy doped by Mo
  • 400mm long heating chamber with built-in four high-quality thermal couples. 
  • The furnace heating module can be positioned horizontally or vertically as shown in the images below (Note: customers are responsible for DIY the support frame/bracket in order to maintain its vertical position)

    (Use a 5000W transformer for 208-240VAC).
  • 3 KW Max. (a 32A circuit breaker is installed)
  • A powder cord is included without a plug 
    (Never plug the equipment into a NEMA 5-15/20R wall outlet)

Heating Zones
  • Four heating zones with independent temperature control
  • Each heating zone length 100 mm
  • Total heating zone length: 400mm (15.75" in total)
  • Max. Constant temperature zone length 250mm, +/- 1°C (if 4 zones are heated to the same temperature)
  • Max. temperature difference between adjacent zones is 200°C.

Temperature Controllers

  • Four digital temperature controllers are included and control 4 heating zone independently, 
  • PID automatic control for heating rate, cooling rate, and dwell time up to 30 segments
  • Built-in overheating & broken thermocouple protection.
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
  • Four K-type thermocouples (one for each zone).
  • RS485 communications port
  • Software and remote PC operation are available at an extra cost.
  • Touch screen controller is available at an extra cost

Operation Instruction

  • The tube furnaces with quartz/mullite tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure <0.2 bars
  • Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
  • Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°C
