GBF-1700-RHP4 is a rapid hot press (RHP) in a glovebox with a fast cooling function. The sample is inductively heated along with a graphite press die up to 1600 degrees and is pressed up to 100 MP with a 5-ton electric press.

It is a cost-effective lab-scale instrument for air-sensitive materials hot pressing. The RHP furnace has a comparable performance with a traditional SPS but at a much lower cost. Please kindly review the literature below for details.

Electric Press

High-Temperature Graphite 
Pressing Die Set
  • Two graphite supporting rods
  • 0.5" ID graphite die, up to 50 MPa.
    • 0.5"ID: Max. 1.26T (sample pressure 100 Mpa)
    • 1.0 ID: Max. 5.06T (sample pressure 100 Mpa, which is optional)
  • The graphite pressing die is fragile and consumable.
  • Note:The maximum pressure range of graphite dies will vary depending on the inner diameter of the die.
