Precision Thickness Checker For Battery Volume Expansion Measurement - PTC-TEM-LD

Precision Thickness Checker For Battery Volume Expansion Measurement - PTC-TEM-LD

SKU: ptc-tem-ld

Price: RFQ

Specifications

The precision thickness checker EQ-PTC-TEM is designed for battery volume expansion measurement within +/- 0.5-micron accuracy. It is a cost-effective tool for studying the battery electrode's volume expansion and the critical pressure to stop battery expansion. SPECIFICATIONS Structure One mechanical jig with a precision base plate is included One precision digital micrometer (made in Japan) is included You may order MTI's coin split cell and pouch split cell fixture for the volume expansion study. (The split cell is not included) Mechanical Jig The mechanical jig works with both coin split cell and pouch split cell Central space is 90 mm L x 70 mm x 150 mm H Customized size is available upon request Deadweight for weighing down the top plate weight is optional. You may add dead weight on the top plate or use a torque wrench to tighten the holding screws to find the critical pressure needed to confine the battery volume expansion Micrometer Digital micrometer: 0.5 micron resolution (0.0005 mm) Range: 1.2" (30.5 mm) Accuracy: 0.0015 mm Power supply: 6 V DC via a 100 - 240 V AC adapter Operating temperature: 0 - 40 °C Application Note Please view "J. Electrochem. Soc.-2013-Piper-A77-81" published by Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 160 (1) A77-A81 (2013) for reference.
