 MSK-HRP-22 Vertical Hot Rolling Press features a pair of 100mm wide steel rollers with Asynchronous rolling speed control up to 200 ° C. The separated control unit features a touch screen control panel. Its vertical rolling position allows users to "gravity feed" flexible films and produces shear force during rolling . Such a compact calendar machine can be put in Ar gas glove-box and is very useful for preparing flexible or dry battery electrode sheets for Li-ion / Soli Metal-Air battery research SPECIFICATIONS Power AC 220V, Single phase, 50/60Hz, 1500 Watts Rollers Roller Size: 100 mm Dia. x 100mm W Effective Cylinder Width: 96mm Roller hardness: HRC 52 The thickness of rolling: 0~1.8 mm adjustable Warning : Never roll materials with hardness >40HRC because rollers are softened at 200. Multi-step thickness calendaring needed: While calendaring the sample sheet, make each calendaring decrement of 0.02mm compared with the sheet's original thickness. Never calendaring decrement over 0.02mm compared with original sheet thickness each calendaring. Clean the roller surface before and after each rolling process. Lubricate the roller surface when the machine is planned for idle to avoid corrosion. It is not allowed to use any MTI product in any hazardous location, especially prohibited from using in Class I environments (flammable gasses & vapor).
