 KSL-1700X-O2 is an atmosphere-controlled box furnace, which is designed for sintering materials under high purity oxygen. The furnace consists of high-quality alumina fiber bricks and MoSi2 heating elements with a heating chamber of 8"x 8"x8". It is an ideal tool for preparing high purity oxide ceramic materials, especially for high Ni battery cathode materials. The furnace also can be used under inert gases up to 1600oC. Using 5% H2 + Ar will improve oxidation during heating. For oxygen-sensitive material, please use a hydrogen furnace Water Cooling A 58L/min recirculating water cooling is required to cool the furnace sealing flange and chamber case.
