Description

GSL-1800X-60-III is a 60mm OD three zones tube furnace with a vacuum sealing flange and 30 mm Dia. quartz window. The center heating zone is 220mm in length, the other two zones are 200mm in length and they are controlled by three precision 30 segments digital temperature controllers independently. All of three zones are heated by Kanthel -1900 grade MoSi2 elements up to 1800°C. The tube furnace can create various thermal gradients by adjusting three zones' temperatures. It is an excellent furnace designed for studying the material's Raman spectrum under high temperatures . also, can be used for epitaxial film growth by CVD.

  • YSZ fibrous insulation is used as internal refractory
  • High-purity fibrous alumina insulation is used as external refractory
  • Included vacuum flange with 30 mm quartz window. The laser beam can penetrate the furnace through the window and sapphire thermal block.

  • The tube furnaces with alumina tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02 Mpa
  • Never use a graphite crucible in the alumina tube.
  • Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator. 
  • The gas flow rate should be limited to < 200 SCCM ( or 200ml/min )
  • Vacuum limit definition for all alumina tube furnaces: * Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1500°C
