Description
VBF-1200X-T is a compact vacuum arc melting furnace designed for melting small quantities of high-temperature refractory metals (up to 2000℃). It features a dual tungsten electrode with a maximum current input of 200A, with one electrode connected to a stainless steel crucible and the other inserted into a graphite crucible. The graphite crucible is heated by a low-voltage DC power supply, and the quartz tube is heated by a resistance furnace to ensure the temperature uniformity of the crucible. The furnace flange is equipped with a feeding device for adding dopping materials during melting. This furnace is used to prepare small samples of rare metal alloys, such as neodymium.
