YLJ-5T-MG is a 5T manual hydraulic pressing machine with a separable pump for easy maintenance. It is designed for pressing pellet sample under magnetic field.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (Optional)
  • A compact electro-magnet is available on request for up to 1 Tesla with a 10 mm air gap. The press station is opening wide enough for Electromagnetic Compatibility and can be placed into a standard glovebox ( Pic. 1- Pic. 2)
  • A Si3N4 or SS316 steel  pressing die is available to put in the center of the magnetic field ( Pic. 3)
    Silicon Nitride Pressing Die optional 10/ 12/15/20/25 mm I.D. for Hot Pressing up to 1050C - DIE-SiN-XX
Protection Cover 
  • Polycarbonate Safety Shield is included in standard package.
  • Note: Door must be closed during use
Application Notes Caution: Customers must always wear protective goggles during operation !!!

Warning
  • The pressing die cannot be used for pressing powder with the particle size < 30 microns. Small particles may slip into the gap between pushing rod and steel sleeve and cause damages to the sleeve during the compression. Ball mill and sieve the powder and apply only the 32~75 microns power to the pressing die to avoid the damages. Please consider using the 3'' Dia. Sieve Set No.200&450 Mesh to separate the 32~75 microns particles from the powder clumps.
  • Please clean the pressing die using ethanol after the completion of each experiment.
  • Customer must always wear protection goggles during operation.
  • Do not raise the bottom cylinder (piston) more than it's maximum traveling distance. (MAX.25mm)
  • Operate the presser inside the glove box is not recommended
  • Idel long time and back to use need to check the eliminate the air and check the oil level.
