Description

MSK-ME-200 is an experimental melt coating system equipped with a heated slot-die coating head. The heads can reach a maximum heating temperature of 350°C for producing polymer or polymer composite films, such as plastic films, and flexible electrolyte membranes for solid-state batteries. It can also be used for coating metal lithium films on copper foil inside a glovebox.

  • One 150 mm width heated slot-die head is connected to the heating container
    • Cooling plate is available upon request with water chiller from 5oC - 35 oC
  • One 200 x 200 mm heating plate with max. 200 ºC is located at the bottom of the slot die
  • The gap between the slot die and the heating plate is adjustable via two-micrometer heads
