• Si3N4 jar has better abrasion resistance than Zirconia. Please see the picture below for a comparison with the Zirconia jar when milling in an empty jar. Zirconia jar and ball have a certain chipping out
• To avoid the contamination from jar and ball, please fill the powder into the jar with 1/3 volume before milling. You may mill the sample at low speed first, and let the sample material coats to surface of the jar and ball, then go high speed
• For air-sensitive material, you may fill the sample and balls with an inert gas glovebox, then ball milling outside
