Description

 Si3N4 Jar can be fitted into the MSK-SFM-3 , MSK-SFM-3-F , and MSK-SFM-3-II for milling materials to avoid iron or other inorganic contamination. It has better abrasion resistance than Zirconia, and it is air-tight for air-sensitive materials. SPECIFICATIONS Material Si3N4 (Purity: >99.99%), Silicon Nitride Hardness: > 8.5 Mohs Density: ~3.7 g/cm3 Capacity 84ml (actual cubage) Package 1 pc of Si3N4 jar with SS Jacket (two O-rings are included to seal the jar air-tightly.) One group of Si3N4 balls is included ( 4 pcs of 10mm, 8 pcs of 8mm, 9 pcs of 5mm ). You may mill the sample at low speed first, and let the sample material coats to surface of the jar and ball, then go high speed For air-sensitive material, you may fill the sample and balls with an inert gas glovebox, then ball milling outside
