SKU: mj-ysz20

Price: RFQ

Specifications

MJ-YSZ20 is 20 ml air-tight Zirconia Jar and is designed for VGM-50-AM High-Energy Impact Grinder and Mill. It can be mill air-sensitive material by loading and unloading the sample inside a glovebox for either crushing sintered sample or ball mill fine powder up to 100 nm. SPECIFICATIONS Material Liner ( 100g) Zirconia (Purity: >99.99%) Hardness: > 8.5 Mohs Density: ~ 5.9 g/cm3 Jacket: Aluminum alloy with silicone O-ring Total weight: 180 g Capacity ~20 ml ( Note: For the wet mill, suggest 30% sample, 30% balls, and 30% liquid by volume For dry mill, suggest 20 % sample, 50% ball by weight Package 1 pc of Zirconia jar with aluminum Jacket (two O-rings are included to seal the zirconia jar) Please click here to order Zirconia balls Suggest : >= 10 mm ball for crushing <+ 5 mm ball for fine milling Compatible Mill Machine Application Notes Warning: Mill an empty the zirconia jar and ball, may cause Zirconia powder to chip out. Please see the picture below test, whatever where the jar is made. Please fill the sample into the jar with 1/3 volume before milling to avoid contamination from the wall and ball. You may start slowly and let powder coat to the surface of the wall and ball, then go at a higher speed. For air-sensitive material, you may fill the sample and balls with an inert gas glovebox, then ball milling outside For measuring XRD powder diffraction at air-tight conditions, you may choose air-tight sample holder with zero diffraction plate at the link below
