Description

KSL-1100X-S-H-LD is acompact hybrid furnace that offers a 4"x4"x4" heating chamber, and 1-2" insertable quartz tube with flange. it is an ideal furnace for preparing small samples up to 1000oC either under vacuum or a controlled atmospherewith maximum energy saving (500 - 700W only). In addition, the compact furnace can be placed into a glove box to sinter samples.

Furnace Construction



  • High-purity fibrous alumina insulation for maximum energy saving - 30% less power consumption than other brands
  • Drop-down door for easy sample loading 
  • Hybrid Furnace:
    • One-end closed 2" quartz tube, a tube block, and a corresponding flange are included for tube furnace application. 
    • A thermal block is included to work as a muffle furnace. 
    • Mechanical Pressure gauge CM-GV is included for the pressure measurement
  •

  • Drop-down door for easy and safe sample loading 
  • Hybrid Furnace:
    • A two-end open 1" quartz tube, a tube block, and corresponding flanges are included for the tube furnace application.
    • The 1" quartz tube penetrates through both ends of the furnace
    • Two thermal blocks are included to work as a standard muffle furnace. 
    • Mechanical Pressure gauge CM-GV is included

  • With its small footprint, low weight, and low power requirement, it can be easily accommodated in a glove box and threat samples under protective gas. Please click pic.1~3 to see details
  • For high vacuum application ( <1e-5 torr), please choose a quartz tube with CF flange as in picture 4

Warnings

  • Toxic or explosive gases are not recommended for use with this furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision. Please put the furnace into the fume hood for better safety (Click Pic.1)
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
