Description
MTI Corporation provides high-quality Alumina (Al2O3) foam blocks with hardening alumina coating for high-temperature tubing furnaces in universities, companies, and national labs. It comes with the specifications as the following:
- Max. working temperature: < 1700ºC
- Diameter: 120mm (4.72")
- Height: 50mm (1.97")
- Feedthrough Diameter: 25mm (0.98")
- Sell in one piece
- The block must be placed between the sample and the flange.
- Fit for MTI's OTF1200XS5-ASD Furnace.
Application Note:
- To prevent dust-falling issue and ensure a cleaning process, it is suggested to apply a thin layer of alumina adhesive material on the surface of the foam block. Please click underline to order.
- For direct delivery of precursor gasses over the heating zone, customer may drill a hole in the alumina block for sticking a 1/4" O.D. quartz (<1200ºC) or alumina (<1700ºC) tube to deliver gas into the furnace tube center. Porous alumina block is very soft and it can be hand-drilled through easily.
