Description

 This is a pair of a smart sealing assembly for the tube vacuum furnace to tighten both ends of the OD 82 mm tube without any welding and gluing. Made of Stainless Steel with double high-temperature silicon O-rings on each flange. On one end the flange has a vacuum meter with a valve attached, and on the other end has the only valve. Seal tube by tightening screws on the flange without any welding and glue. 1/4" hose connector in both of ends. 1/4" in diameter vacuum sealing assembly will connect with 1/4" rubber hose. Excellent for any type of tubing: ceramic, mullite, glass, quartz and steel pipe. The assembly kit will seal 82 - 84 mm diameter of Alumina or Mullite tube. Package included One flange with gauge and valve, one flange with valve, two steel sealing rings, four high-temperature silicone O-rings ( 300 o C Max.), and six screws Vacuum level: 10E-2 torr by a mechanical pump 10E-5 torr by a small turbopump and 10-6 torr by hi-speed turbopump Warning Must put a refractory tube block in front of the flange (see picture below) to avoid heat radiation melt silicone O-ring. You order a ceramic block in related products. Please do not over tighten the three hex screws on the flanges to avoid overpressure incidents. The recommended torque is 35~40 inch-lbs.
