YLJ-40TA-PE is an electric lab press up to 40 metric tons to prepare the compound ceramic or powder metallurgical sample. The electric hydraulic pump is separated from the pressing machine, which makes maintenance and replacement at easy. The pump's pressure is 30 segments programmable for pressure and dwell time. One KF40 feedthrough is installed with the high-pressure pipe, which allows customers to can use the press inside the glovebox.

Motorized  Hydraulic Pump


  • Input Voltage:208-240VAC, 50/60Hz (110V version is available via 500W transformer)
  • Output Power: 150W
  • 180 W AC motor
  • Built-in digital pressure controller, which is 30 segments programmable to set up multi-pressure and dwell time during raising pressure. (Pressure settings have to be monotonically increasing. Multi-step pressure relief is not allowed.)
  • One pump speed controller is built in to adjust the pump speed
  • KF40 feed-through can be installed on the pipe, which allows the pipe is inserted into a glovebox and connected to the press machine. The feedthrough is not included in the standard package and can be ordered at an extra cost.
  • RS485 port is built-in on the control panel for PC operation.
  • PC software based on Labview is available upon request at an extra cost. ( You must inform us in advance if you need PC operation, and suggest you buy a laptop from us for pre-test )

Application Notes
  • The pressing die is suggested to be used with a particle size < 30 microns. Small particles may slip into the gap between the pushing rod and steel sleeve and cause damage to the sleeve You must clean the die very carefully after each use. Please consider using the 3'' Dia. Sieve Set No.200&450 Mesh to separate the 32~75 microns particles from the powder clumps. Please clean the mold via ethanol after the completion of each experiment
  • Do not raise the bottom cylinder (piston) more than its maximum traveling distance (25 mm)
  • The press can be put in a glovebox
 
  • Warning: Customers must always wear protective goggles during operation !!!
