Description

KSL-1500X-S-H is a1500ºC high-temperature hybrid furnace that can be used as a 1.7L ( 12x12x12cm ) muffle furnace and a 2" tube furnace. It is a cost-effective and space-saving solution for material processing labs.

SPECIFICATIONS: 

Furnace Structure

  • The design of the drop-down door is for loading samples easy.
  • The gas inlet and venting port are installed for use in oxygen or inert gas-enriched atmospheres.
  • One 2" hole is opened in the front of the door to insert a 2" mullite tube when use as a vacuum tube furnace

Attention Notes
  • For preserving the longevity of the furnace components, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10 °C /min. The cooling rate shall also not exceed 10 °C /min.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
  • Performance degradation (i.e. furnace can not reach the maximum temperature of 1500°C or it is drawing a higher than normal working current) can be expected due to the use of aged SiC heating elements. It is necessary to replace all the heating elements.
